CLEAR is an international foundation dedicated to building a network that promotes clinical learning, professional exchange of ideas and research with a common purpose: To promote visual health and human well-being.

Vision & Mission

CLEAR (Community for Learning, Eye Care and Research) was created to connect people and professionals through learning, service, and empathy.

Our mission is to promote clinical training, professional exchange, and community engagement in visual health, integrating optometry, ophthalmology, and other disciplines that contribute to human well-being.

Through programs such as VIBE, which fosters international learning experiences; VELA, which brings eye care to communities with limited access; VOICE, which encourages cultural and language exchange; and CLEAR SPACE, which bridges human vision with space exploration — CLEAR aims to build a bridge between knowledge, science, and humanity.

Workshops and Talks

Psychological support in visual loss

Taught by a specialized psychologist, this talk provides healthcare professionals with tools to guide and support patients with severe eye conditions, helping them navigate the process of vision loss with sensitivity and empathy and another talk for patients who are already experiencing it.

Workshops are designed to complement clinical training with communication tools, patient support, and personal growth.

CLEAR was born from the need to be heard, and became a bridge for others to learn, help, and find one another.
